Bremen/Munich, 02.07.2021

As a service provider, ROBUR Industry Service Group is providing support to EWE Go in the maintenance and servicing of charging stations, thereby strengthening its service portfolio with innovative and sustainable e-mobility solutions.

Since its foundation in 2015, ROBUR stands for modern, high-quality industrial services and for solutions to the challenges associated with digital transformation and ecological change. The Group already generates more than 50% of its turnover with sustainable services and is continuously expanding this area.

More than 1,500 of ROBUR’s 3,000 colleagues worldwide work on projects in the renewable energy market, from planning and installation to service and maintenance. The Group’s specialists offer solutions and bundled expertise “from a single source” and are holistic partners for customers along the lifecycle of their capital assets.

With a framework agreement for the maintenance and servicing of around 100 charging stations of EWE Go GmbH, ROBUR is now expanding its existing portfolio of services for the wind industry, battery storage projects, hydro and hydrogen solutions to include services for charging station infrastructure.

“This development is the logical continuation of the first successful projects in the charging station infrastructure and e-mobility sector in various companies of the Group. Together, we are doing our part to enable the mobility transformation and to make it sustainable in the future with EWE Go”, explains Jan-Jörg Müller-Seiler, CEO and Managing Partner of ROBUR.

“We are proud to be actively supporting our colleagues in this project and to be able to act successfully as a Group once again”, says René Psarski, Managing Director of ROBUR WIND and ROBUR Partner.

“We are pleased to have ROBUR Industry Service Group as a new, strong and reliable partner at our side to support us in on-site services and maintenance of charging stations in the Bremen and Bremerhaven area”, says Till Horstkamp, responsible for Technical Operations at EWE Go.

ROBUR continues to grow: The project division of ALTRAD Industrial Projects Maintenance will become part of ROBUR under the name of ROBUR INDUSTRIEMONTAGEN.

Leipzig, 26.03.2021

ROBUR is taking over the project division of Leipzig-based ALTRAD Industrial Projects Maintenance GmbH with 110 colleagues as part of an assets deal and will continue to operate the division under the name ROBUR INDUSTRIEMONTAGEN. The site on Seilerweg will also remain.

The two groups, ALTRAD and ROBUR, have already been successfully cooperating on various projects for many years now. It was therefore a natural step to put the existing partnership on a new foundation when ALTRAD was reconsidering the Leipzig site as part of its strategy realignment. The acquisition of the project division in Leipzig means that ROBUR can further strengthen its portfolio with ROBUR INDUSTRIEMONTAGEN, thereby also securing the future of the site and its almost 110 colleagues.

“ROBUR is synonymous with the digitization of industrial services and is shaping the ecological transformation of industry. We are expanding our expertise in important areas such as the construction of hydrogen and LNG facilities and the associated work with our colleagues from the newly founded ROBUR INDUSTRIEMONTAGEN. This is an elementary building block for the ecological transformation, and this is why our decision for ROBUR INDUSTRIEMONTAGEN fits perfectly into the long-term strategy of ROBUR,” explains Jan-Jörg Müller-Seiler, CEO and Managing Partner of ROBUR.

Roosh-Übergabe

The central pipeline prefabrication facility covering 21,000 m² of space is situated in the business hub of Leipzig with exemplary infrastructure and transport links in close proximity to the Autobahn and the airport. This makes it possible to manage projects cost-effectively, flexibly, with high quality and at the highest level of safety.

Automated machinery for cutting, chamfering and welding, computer-controlled pipe-forming torch-cutting machines, mandrel-bending machines and cutting machines for fittings as well as full-coverage availability of gantry cranes provide the basis for effective processing.

This modern technology, outstanding organization as well as a complete digital process means that the entire range of products and services can be presented to customers in detail and with transparency. The integrated self-developed system systematically provides all collected project-relevant data for work preparation, material management, progress documentation and quality management.

“I am delighted that ROBUR INDUSTRIEMONTAGEN has become another building block of ROBUR’s PROCESS business unit,” comments Dr Florian König, CEO of the business unit and Senior Partner of ROBUR. “In addition to possessing hydrogen expertise and experience in piping LNG drives, our colleagues also have specialist knowledge of the challenges facing the pharmaceutical industry, thereby expanding our portfolio in this area. The pharmaceutical industry in Germany and Europe is an important factor in securing the location, both in light of the current situation and over the long term, and therefore deserves our special attention as an industrial service provider,” adds König.

The previous authorized signatory David Seelig will take over the management of the new ROBUR company. This also corresponds to the philosophy of ROBUR’s partnership-based organisation. “I have got to know the partnership environment at ROBUR over the past few weeks and am now excited to be a part of ROBUR. I was able to thoroughly familiarise myself with the way the company is managed, the constructive exchange and the joint, pragmatic search for solutions over the past few months, and I feel extremely comfortable in the group,” says David Seelig, Managing Director of ROBUR INDSUTRIEMONTAGEN, describing the new setup. “We have also found a great new home for my colleagues, one in which we will be able to grow successfully as a whole group and thereby secure jobs at the site over the long term. And nothing will change for our existing customers, apart from the name – we will ensure continuity and quality in this area,” continues Seelig.

“We have been on the lookout for companies and individuals to help us shape the digital transformation of industrial services and the ecological transformation of industry since we were founded in 2015. We are continuing along this path resolutely together with the 110 colleagues of the new ROBUR INDSUTRIEMONTAGEN, and we are by no means at the end of our growth ambition. We aim to grow significantly both organically and inorganically over the next few years and to use our industrial services to make industries fit for the future, digitise them, and make the environment the focus of our activities in the best possible way. Not only does this make us economically successful during these challenging times – it also safeguards the future of our colleagues, now numbering around 3,000, as well as the future of the generations to come on this planet,” concludes Florian Kopp, founder and Managing Partner of ROBUR.

We hit it off with our partners at ROBUR from the very first meeting and can continue and expand the successful history of ESCAD under the new umbrella in the interest of our colleagues and our customers.”

“Our philosophy at ROBUR has always been to bring specialists together and have them work collaboratively on finding solutions to the challenges our customers face. With a focus on digital transformation, supporting ecological change and the ROBUR partnership, we can offer our customers and partner companies the ideal basis for growing together and mastering the challenges of today collaboratively within a group of specialists. EREDA joins ROBUR

Munich/Madrid, January 26th, 2021

Munich-based ROBUR Industry Service Group has acquired the Madrid-based Renewable Engineering experts EREDA (Energías Renovables y Desarrollos Alternativos S.L.U.) to further grow their service offering for the Wind and Renewable Energy sector across Europe, the Americas and Africa. As part of the ROBUR RME business, EREDA will continue to operate with its own brand inside the ROBUR WIND portfolio.

At ROBUR, around 1,000 colleagues are already working in the Wind and Renewables sector across Europe, the Americas and Africa and are generating around 1/3 of the groups’ revenue. Founded in 2015, ROBUR has grown to 200m EUR in revenues in 2020 and focuses on driving digital transformation and ecological change of industries and industrial services in wind, water, energy, the process industry and industrials.

“Expanding our service offering by integrating the colleagues from EREDA into ROBUR RME and our ROBUR WIND portfolio was a natural step forward, strengthening our overall strategy and enhancing our engineering capabilities to grow faster in this vital industry sector” explains Jan-Jörg Müller-Seiler, CEO and Managing Partner of ROBUR.

EREDA (www.ereda.com) has 16 years of engineering experience in the Renewable Energy sector, offering services in Spain but also in other European countries, including Eastern Europe, as well as in Latin America and Africa. EREDA brings along substantial experience from different stages of project development and implementation, mainly in Wind, but also in Solar PV, Biomass, Energy Efficiency and Energy Planning.

Founded in the beginning of 2020, the Hamburg-based ROBUR RME (www.robur-rme.com) is already delivering a holistic approach to the development, implementation and asset management of renewable projects.

ROBUR RME’s Managing Director Kurt Stürken is more than delighted to see EREDA join the ROBUR and be an integral part of ROBUR RME: “EREDA does not only bring a huge amount of experience and track record in the Renewables sector but is known in the industry for its dedicated engineers and ability to deliver competitive and high quality services. I am looking forward to working together with Cristobal and his team in the years to come and help our clients to generate more value out of their Renewable assets”.

Cristobal Lopez is equally pleased to be able to announce the move to be part of ROBUR: “With ROBUR RME, ROBUR WIND and the whole of ROBUR we will be able to increase our offering to clients, access new market segments and have the strength to meet the challenges of a growing but more and more demanding market”.

CONGIV joins ROBUR – Expansion of the group’s digital and network expertise

Munich, 15.10.2020

The E2E network specialist, CONGIV GmbH, will become part of ROBUR Industry Service Group GmbH, backdated to 1 January 2020. The new partner is therefore strengthening the group’s service portfolio for the digital transformation of industry and industrial services, adding E2E and 5G expertise.

Founded in 2015 to find new approaches for the evolving industrial services sector, assist its customers’ digital transformation and support them in their ecological change, ROBUR is reinforcing its digital service portfolio by adding Pöcking-based CONGIV GmbH to the group. Andreas Vollmer, Managing Director of CONGIV, will also become a ROBUR Partner.

CONGIV is a consulting and service company that has its origins in the telecommunications sector. The firm provides engineering, development and testing services for complex IT infrastructures, such as for IoT/Industry 4.0 solutions. The company uses its profound communication technology expertise, among other things, for the growing digitalisation of industry that is currently underway, which is associated with the implementation of the 5G mobile network standard. CONGIV’s customer base includes notable telecommunications and industrial firms in a wide range of sectors.
“With Andreas and CONGIV, we’re delighted to have gained a ROBUR partner who is at the forefront of promoting and executing innovation in the digital transformation of industry on a daily basis, including the implementation of 5G networks,” says Jan-Jörg Müller-Seiler, CEO and Managing Partner of ROBUR, commenting on this development.
As an E2E network specialist, this new partner complements the group in a future market and is a fundamental element for the successful implementation of the digital transformation of industries.
Andreas Vollmer, Managing Director of CONGIV, adds: “With CONGIV, ROBUR is gaining valuable network/telecommunication technology expertise and we’re delighted to be further expanding the group’s service portfolio and providing customers with integrated services for optimizing their systems.”
Industry 4.0 solutions in particular, such as the cloud factory, can only be developed as an end-to-end solution. In addition to network specialists (CONGIV), close liaison with automation specialists (e.g. APE) as well as project and engineering specialists (e.g. TEC), ensures project success. ROBUR therefore provides all services from a single source.
“The inclusion of CONGIV allows ROBUR to consistently implement its strategy of creating a digitalisation and service platform specialising in industrial applications alongside its existing service portfolio,” concludes Florian Kopp, Co-Founder and Managing Partner of ROBUR.
