Hexagon-EAM-specialist Spectades B.V. joins ROBUR

Enterprise Asset Management specialist Spectades B.V. (Brielle, The Netherlands) becomes part of ROBUR. The group is thus further expanding its leading EAM market position and further rounds out the portfolio for everything to do with digital and industrial transformation in industrial services for the leading industrial and energy companies in Europe.

JASCHEK MT strengthens ROBUR's Relocation and Installation expertise.

The relocation and installation specialist JASCHEK MT (Munich, Regensburg, Bamberg) becomes part of ROBUR and thus strengthens the group’s portfolio in this area around the existing ROBUR partners TEC (Dormagen) and WIR (Eltmann).

“As JASCHEK MT, we can look back on more than 40 years of experience in the smooth execution of complex industrial assemblies,” explains Tommy Füllner, Managing Director and owner of JASCHEK MT “During this time, colleagues from ROBUR kept running into us and after initially appreciative competition, we realized over time that we complement each other excellently in our product portfolio and in our customer segments,” continues Tommy Füllner out.

FRANKE Industrieofen Service joins ROBUR and will expand its business under the new brand FIOS

FRANKE Industrieofen Service – the leading furnace inspection company – has joined ROBUR – the Munich based industry service specialist – and will offer its furnace inspection and monitoring services from now on under its new branding “FIOS”.

“For more than 20 years FRANKE Industrieofen Service has been the partner of choice when best in class furnace inspection and monitoring services are needed” states Dr. Norbert Pfitzner, founder, and CEO of FRANKE Industrieofen Service. “Operating in the glass and aluminum industry we are already very well known in Germany and the central European region – but together with ROBUR we want to expand our reach and offer our services to even more clients – together with the many ROBUR partners and especially with our long-time friends at EXCELSIUS”.

FIOS is specialized in furnace inspection and monitoring services without stopping the production process. Using the self-developed mobile inspection camera system, FIOS delivers HD-quality insights into the furnace during the production process in temperatures up to 1,500ºC and gives feedback on the burning process. This information can be used to make better and well-founded decisions on necessary furnace maintenance. Norbert Pfitzner explains the change in the branding: “In the past we have already been called FIOS by our international clients and this was inspiration for us to also pick up this name officially as our future brand. Based on our heritage and experience, we will expand our business for our clients and, together with ROBUR, offer industrial service along the life cycle of our clients’ assets”.

ROBUR was already very well known in FIOS through their cooperation with EXCELSIUS. “But everything Frank and Kevin told me about the organization of the group was more than true. ROBUR NACHHALTIGKEITSBERICHT 2022: NACHHALTIGER INDUSTRIESERVICE ALS EIN BEITRAG FÜR EIN GANZHEITLICHES UMDENKEN

For a second time the munich bound industry service group ROBUR Industry Service Group has released its Sustainability Report. Nachdem 2021 zunächst der Status quo in der Gruppe analysiert und Ziele gesetzt wurden, blickt die Gruppe um CEO JanJörg Müller-Seiler auf erste Erfolge zurück, arbeitet an den Herausforderungen des ökologischen Wandels im eigenen Unternehmen und setzt sich neue Ziele für ein ganzheitliches Umdenken im Industrieservice.

Während der Nachhaltigkeitsbericht 2021 noch sehr stark von der Corona-Pandemie und dem Sammeln der Ist-Werte geprägt war, ist der Bericht 2022 (für das Berichtsjahr 2021) geprägt von Wachstum und den Herausforderungen, Prozesse in Wachstumsphasen ökologisch anzupassen oder zu optimieren und damit gesteckte Ziele entsprechend zu erreichen.

„Neben der Tatsache, dass wir als ROBUR angetreten sind, Industrieservice neu zu definieren wollen, wir unsere Bemühungen für den ökologischen Wandel des Industrieservice auch stets transparent dokumentieren“, erklärt Jan-Jörg Müller-Seiler, CEO der ROBUR Industry Service Group. „Wir haben viele der im Bericht des letzten Jahres definierten Ziele erreicht und ich danke den Partnern und den über 3.000 Kolleginnen und Kollegen in der ROBUR für Ihren Einsatz, die Gruppe ökologischer aufzustellen. Wir müssen aber auch ehrlich zugeben, dass wir nicht alle gesetzten Ziele vollständig umsetzen konnten“, erläutert Müller-Seiler.

Die Gründe dafür seien vielschichtig, haben zum einen mit der gestiegenen Nachfrage nach der Corona-Pandemie oder mit den Herausforderungen, Prozesse schneller ökologisch umzustellen zu tun. Auch sei der Wechsel von Verträgen mit Lieferanten für Strom zum Beispiel von heute auf morgen nicht so leicht möglich. „Dies soll keine Entschuldigung sein, wenn wir ein Ziel nicht vollständig erreicht haben, es ist für uns vielmehr Erklärung und Ansporn, hier besser zu werden“, ergänzt Müller-Seiler.

ROBUR ist weltweit für Kunden unterwegs, daher lassen sich Flugreisen nicht vermeiden. In 2021 wurden erstmals sämtliche fluggebundenen Mobilitätsleistungen direkt oder im Anschluss kompensiert. Darüber hinaus wurden die Standorte im Hinblick auf die Schaffung einer Elektroladeinfrastruktur überprüft und mit der Umsetzung in 2022 begonnen. Dazu gehört auch die Erweiterung der Fahrzeug- und Flottenrichtlinien im Hinblick auf alternative Transportmöglichkeiten, die ebenfalls in 2022 nun umgesetzt wird. Der Wechsel auf Ökostrom für die Standorte war dagegen sehr knapp (48 % statt 50%) nicht erfolgreich – dies lag zum Teil an langfristigen Verträgen, sodass die Gruppe erst in 2022 dieses Ziel erreichen und hoffentlich auch übertreffen wird.

„Den ökologischen Wandel eines Unternehmens und des Industrieservice dürfen wir im Interesse der nachfolgenden Generationen nicht auf die lange Bank schieben. Als ROBUR haben wir die ersten Schritte in Angriff genommen und wir werden in den nächsten Jahren unsere Anstrengungen für den ökologischen Wandel der Gruppe maximieren. Deswegen haben wir auch die Climate Pledge unterschrieben. Zusammen und im Austausch wollen wir die Herausforderungen der ökologischen Transformation besser und schneller meistern. Es gibt noch viel zu tun und wir wollen diesen Wandel für uns und für unsere Kunden aktiv gestalten“, meint Jan-Jörg Müller-Seiler abschließend
