ROBUR further expands Industrial Transformation Business Unit with KAT

ROBUR, the Munich-based industrial services specialist for digital transformation and ecological change, today, June 22, 2023, announced the addition of KAT Kraus Automatisierungstechnik GmbH from Hassfurt in Lower Franconia. ROBUR is thus expanding its Industrial Transformation business unit and further establishing itself as a full service provider in the market.

The medium-sized family-owned company KAT Kraus Automatisierungstechnik has been developing and implementing automation, measurement and testing technology as well as control cabinet construction for a wide range of industrial sectors for more than 25 years. In the field of automation, KAT offers complete production plants, also with robot modules, ready-for-use and CE-certified. In measuring and testing technology, it relies on individually programmed solutions that are modular in design and easy to expand. In addition, KAT designs, plans and wires control cabinets and systems that comply with the respective country-specific standards. The company has DIN ISO 9001:2015 certification and an Alliance Partnership from National Instruments.

The second-generation family business was founded in 1996 by Dipl.-Ing. Ingbert Kraus in Hassfurt, Lower Franconia. Since 2007, Stefan Besendorf and Silvia Kraus-Besendorf have been at the company’s top and primarily attend to long-standing customers not only in the region, but also in the international market.

Expansion of management at ROBUR WIND: Joachim Nagora appointed CFO and commercial director.

Bremen, March 27, 2023

Bremen-based ROBUR WIND, part of the Munich-based ROBUR Industry Service Group, has secured the services of the experienced wind manager Joachim Nagora. He joined the management of the wind service specialist as commercial director and CFO as of 01.03.2023 and supports the CEO Kyriakos Kosmidis in the further expansion of the company.

With the engagement of Berlin-born Joachim Nagora, ROBUR WIND can secure the knowhow of an experienced manager for the further expansion of the company. Nagora has previously worked in various industries and corporate functions for internationally operating companies in Germany and abroad and can draw above all on a wide range of experience in the wind industry.

“Joachim is an experienced wind manager and exactly the right reinforcement we need as ROBUR WIND in Bremen, but also as the WIND Group in ROBUR as a whole” comments Kyriakos Kosmidis, CEO of the Business Unit WIND and Senior Partner of ROBUR on this development. “Joachim can ideally support us in expanding the business with his process and leadership experience and I am very pleased that we were able to win him for ROBUR WIND” Kosmidis continues.

In his role, Nagora will look after the commercial management of ROBUR WIND in Bremen and shape the associated dialog with colleagues, suppliers and customers.

HOTWORK (USA) joins ROBUR

HOTWORK USA LLC has joined the Munich (Germany) based industry service group ROBUR Industry Service as of December 2022. HOTWORK is partnering with the ROBUR companies EXCELSIUS and FIOS to service clients with industrial furnaces. The move gives the group a truly global approach in furnace service offerings for clients in the glass, metals, cement, and hydrocarbon industries.
